Area Amenities

The Uptown neighbourhood of New Westminster is a modern urban environment that features a wide array of amenities and business services.


Most major financial institutions operate branches in the Uptown area, and offer commercial banking services. Professional services, such as legal, accounting and other business services, are well represented.

The Uptown area offers an abundance of shopping in Westminster Centre (London Drugs, Save On Foods) and Royal City Centre (Safeway, Shoppers).

More than thirty-five restaurants and coffee shops are located within two blocks of Westminster Centre. The area is a vibrant pedestrian-oriented neighbourhood with many sidewalk cafes and outdoor seating areas.

Community facilities in the area include the Massey Theatre (1,260 seats) and the New Westminster Public Library. The historic Queen's Park neighbourhood borders the Uptown area to the East.

The Uptown is well connected by public transportation. Bus routes traverse the Uptown area along Sixth Street, Sixth Avenue and Eighth Street. Bus service is frequent and connects to nearby SkyTrain (rapid transit) stations. New Westminster is centrally located in the Greater Vancouver area and is close to 3 major bridges and to highways in all directions.



Building Amenities


Westminster Centre contains an abundance of retail stores and restaurants, including London Drugs, Save On Foods, BCAA, TD Canada Trust, Vancity, Starbucks, Subway, McDonalds, and Yianni’s Greek Taverna. The complex also houses various walk-in medical and dental clinics.

The roof top patio is located on the third floor, and is available for tenant use during regular hours. In
addition, this patio is available for company barbeques or other social functions.

Secured bicycle storage and end of trip facilities are provided on the P2 parking level.
